About us

#walking with care for people and nature

Our #walking holidays are not just about putting one foot in front of the other through stunning landscapes. They are about creating meaningful experiences. We organize single hiking trips for travelers aged #65+ in #Scandinavia, where nature, connection, and sustainability come together. Whether you come for the fresh air, the companionship, or simply because your legs prefer not to sit still all day, you are welcome here if you want to travel consciously and actively with us.

Our mission and vision

Our mission is simple: to connect active #single travelers aged 65+ with each other and with nature in a sustainable way. Many people in this stage of life are not only looking for relaxation, but also for depth, new connections, and a sense of adventure. At the same time, there is a growing global need for responsible tourism that respects nature and strengthens local communities.

Our vision is to go beyond offering #walking routes. We aim to create travel experiences where people feel part of their environment rather than passing through it. Sustainability is not an extra feature, but the foundation of everything we do.

Our team

Different talents. One vision. We love what we do, and it shows in the way we work together every day. From brainstorming big ideas to delivering the final details, our team combines creativity, enthusiasm, and expertise to create meaningful results. We believe that the best work happens when people enjoy the journey together.

Sustainable travel with solid ground beneath your feet

Our key strengths lie in small-scale travel, personal attention, and a sustainable structure. A major USP is that we operate from a fixed base during the trip. This reduces transport movements, lowers CO₂ emissions, and avoids unnecessary packing and hotel changes.

We also work exclusively with local accommodations and partners. This strengthens regional economies and ensures efficient collaboration with minimal travel impact. Our small groups of single travelers aged 65+ create a safe, social, and inclusive environment. Where possible, we use public transport and prioritize walking as the main mode of travel.

Feasible sustainability measures in practice

Sustainability can sound big and complicated, but we make it practical and achievable. We deliberately choose small-scale, locally owned accommodations and collaborate with regional partners who share our values. We also encourage sustainable transport options such as trains and buses, as these have significantly lower CO₂ emissions compared to individual car travel.

In designing our routes, we also ensure minimal impact on natural areas. We stay on marked trails and respect local regulations, helping preserve nature for future generations. In this way, walking becomes not only enjoyable, but also responsible.

Stakeholders: building sustainability together

Our internal and external stakeholders play an essential role in our sustainability approach. Internally, management and the team work closely together to design travel routes that are ecologically responsible while remaining enjoyable for our target group. Every decision is based on conscious choices rather than convenience alone.

Externally, we collaborate with local accommodations, guides, transport providers, and nature organizations. Because we operate from a fixed location during the trip, we avoid unnecessary travel movements, creating stable and efficient partnerships. Local guides not only bring deep knowledge of nature and culture, but also strengthen the connection between travelers and the region. Our customers are also key stakeholders, actively contributing to the sustainability of the journey through their travel choices and behavior.

Future vision and concrete goals

In the future, we aim to become a leading organization in sustainable walking holidays for seniors. Our ambition remains grounded in People, Planet, and Profit. We want to strengthen social connection and reduce loneliness through group travel where meaningful interaction is central.

For the planet, we aim to further reduce our environmental footprint by increasing train travel, minimizing waste, and expanding partnerships with sustainable local providers. Economically, we want to continue supporting fair distribution of income within local communities.

Our concrete goals include ensuring that at least 80% of our partnerships are with local and small-scale accommodations, structurally reducing business travel emissions through digitalization and remote work, and expanding collaboration with local guides and nature organizations. Transparency remains key, ensuring that we not only promise sustainability but also demonstrate it clearly.

Additionally, we actively avoid greenwashing, which refers to presenting a business or product as more environmentally friendly than it actually is. Instead of using vague or exaggerated sustainability claims, we focus on measurable actions, transparent communication, and verifiable impact data. This ensures that our sustainability message is honest, credible, and not misleading for customers.

Closing thoughts

Sustainable travel does not have to be complicated or heavy. It can be light, social, and inspiring. Or as we like to say: walking together towards a future where we don’t just go further, but also see more clearly where we already are.
